THE DANIEL FOUNDATION A non-profit organization dedicated to using all forms of media to utilize wisdom and knowledge to influence the secular world as Daniel did in the Old Testament. In memory of: Dr. Bill Bright - Dr. Bill Bright was founder and chairman of Campus Crusade for Christ, an organization which began as a campus ministry in 1951 and now has more than 25,000 full-time staff and 553,000 trained volunteer staff in 196 countries in areas representing 99.6 percent of the world's population. In the past 50 years, Campus Crusade for Christ has seen approximately 6 billion exposures to the gospel worldwide. The film, "JESUS," which Bright conceived and funded through Campus Crusade for Christ, is the most widely viewed film ever produced. Since its use began in 1980, the film has been translated into more than 689 languages and viewed by more than 4.5 billion people in 234 countries. Dr. Bright was also the author of more than fifty books.
Without Dr. Bright The AwesomePower of God Project would never have been started although certainly this is the least of his accomplishments here on Earth. Dr. Ted Baehr - Dr.Baehr,Founder and Publisher of MOVIEGUIDE® and Chairman of The Christian Film &Television Commission,is a well-known movie critic,educator,lecturer,and media pundit.He has written numerous books,including The Media-Wise Family (Chariot Victor) and Getting the Word Out (Harper &Row).He is currently in the process of writing a historically-based book that will correspond to the upcoming movie Gods and Generals (Loyal).Dr.Baehr has financed five feature films,produced many television and radio programs, designed several games,and is working on producing several new movies. Dr.Baehr graduated summa cum laude in Comparative Literature from Dartmouth College, attended Cambridge University,the University of Bordeaux &Toulouse,and the University of Munich, graduated with a Juris Doctor from NYU School of Law, and finished his theological studies at the Institute of Theology.Dr.Baehr ’s work has been featured in such publications as USA Today ,The L.A.Times and The Washington Post .He has been a featured guest on such shows as Oprah,CNN and Entertainment Tonight. Jim Ballew - Jim Ballew is the founder of the Power of God project. CEO of A Big Corporation, A Big Production and chairman of VRcade, Inc., Mr. Ballew brings almost 20 years of entrepeneurial, business, and management consulting experience to industries as varied as technology and entertainment. Mr. Ballew is author of numerous creative works as well as non-fiction works such as The Spiritual Emergency Manual, The Ugly Bride, God Unplugged!, Backsliding: How to Get Out, Get On and Give Help, and The Most Powerful Prayer.
